The Death of Caesar continues to make waves around the globe!

Over at Historically Thinking, Barry was featured as guest on the site’s most recent podcast discussing the Greek historians Thucydides and Herodotus where he offered commentary on how to look beyond “Thucydides’ Tower”, a phrase used to describe how the scholar covered primarily the politics and battles of the Peloponnesian War while leaving out many other aspects. Next, Barry reminds listeners that Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and The Death of Caesar makes for a great gift!

Second, Barry received a stunning recommendation on The Week from famed author Robert Harris who purports that The Death of Caesar is one of six essential books on the final years of the Roman Republic.
